Journal of Your Dreams: Part One

Rise and shine! If you saw our Facebook page yesterday, you’re probably following our #jotdownyourdreams challenge, here is MY first dream:

~~~
We were already in a basement-like room (with some old chairs, dim lighting, and something like a tv where you would play games and such…
But there was an evil pikachu, and another figure lurking beyond the landing at the steps (steps that mysteriously went even farther into the earth (we perhaps weren’t already in a basement). The lights were going crazy, or there was fog everywhere for a short while---it was hard to tell, as the sight sense was devastated either way. I knew I had to get out of there, so I went to the bottom of the stairs, and farther into the earth.
When I arrived at the landing, there was the same old rack of clothes that we saw at Thanksgiving in Uncle John and Aunt Lucy’s basement with the Mexican-style, embroidered pieces. However, I was searching for weapons, and there was one toolbox that I started sifting through. I found a lot of old, metal pairs of scissors, took one of those and a smaller knife as well.
Then my teammate---oh yeah, I was on a team apparently---and I went around the corner or up a different set of stairs, kinda into the open, like we were going outside to start fighting.
I showed my teammate my weapons, and said “one for eternal long-range, and one for eternal short range, except for the knife isn’t eternal long-range [I guess I figured that once I threw it, I would have it no longer]; only a shadow[clone] shuriken jutsu could do that.” Kikashi was in the background, listening to us when I said that.
~~~

I admit; my dream may have had a few foreign references, like my aunt/uncle, and at the end it had some Naruto terminology, but… Wasn’t that exciting? Don’t you want to know what happened next---did they start fighting or what?

I get chills down my spine (and a few laughs) just by remembering and writing it down. And think, I can get another kick out of it any time I’m bored… Your turn! Use the hashtag #jotdownyourdreams to let us know how it goes!

  1. This is definitely interesting to read, in my dreams as well I usually feel safest when I have high ground or if I am in an open area. Like yours, it seems like I always wake up before any sort of fight can commence.
