How Walking Has Kept me Active and Healthy

Being home has kept me and many other college students on the couch indoors with our fair share of snacks. Last week I decided I would walk at least once a day for 20 or more minutes on Monday - Friday.
Here is what I noticed...

Day One
I went on a walk with my whole family. This was the most fun because we were kind of crazy and slap-happy to be outside.

Day Two
This was my shortest walk. Lucy, my dog, is the laziest member of our family. She has a radar for streets the lead back home and she is not afraid to drag you down them in order to get back to her dog bed. I rate her walk five stars for company and zero stars for exercise.

Day 3
I just walked by myself on day three. I listened to some classical music while I walked and enjoyed the sun. I give smetana credit for getting me through this one.

Day 4
My Boyfriend's mother was walking to meet me and she fell and broke 4 fingers on her hands. So we did not finish out walk.

Day 5

This walk was by myself again, I really found out that I walk faster with music so I did also listen to music again to keep me focused.

I chose to walk for five days in order stay healthy and to show support for World Health Day on April 7th, 2020.
